OpesQ is a UK-registered software-as-a-service company providing business management tools for HR, health and safety, and workforce compliance. Our platform is delivered entirely online, and our operations are based in the United Kingdom.
While OpesQ may not currently meet the turnover threshold requiring a formal modern slavery statement under the Act, we publish this statement voluntarily as a demonstration of our commitment to ethical business practices.
OpesQ is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. We have zero tolerance for any form of modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking.
As a digital SaaS business, our supply chain is predominantly composed of technology service providers covering hosting, database infrastructure, email delivery, media storage and AI-powered features. These suppliers are established technology companies with their own published policies on ethical conduct and labour standards.
A full list of our current technology suppliers is available on request by contacting us at hello@opesq.com.
We assess our suppliers for ethical practices before entering into agreements with them. This includes reviewing their published policies on labour standards, corporate responsibility, and compliance with applicable laws. We prioritise working with suppliers who demonstrate a clear commitment to preventing modern slavery within their own operations and supply chains.
Given the nature of our business as a digital platform with a technology-focused supply chain, we consider our exposure to modern slavery risk to be low. Our workforce is UK-based and employed under standard UK employment law. Our suppliers are reputable technology firms operating in well-regulated jurisdictions.
Despite this low-risk profile, we remain vigilant. We review our supply chain annually to identify any changes that could introduce new risks, and we will take immediate action if any concerns are raised.
We ensure that our team members are aware of the risks of modern slavery and understand the importance of ethical supply chain management. Relevant staff involved in procurement decisions receive guidance on identifying and reporting potential indicators of modern slavery.
If you have any concerns about modern slavery in relation to OpesQ or our supply chain, please contact us at hello@opesq.com. All reports will be treated seriously and investigated promptly. We encourage reporting in good faith and will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern.
This statement is reviewed and updated annually. The next review is scheduled for April 2027. Any material changes to our supply chain or risk profile will be reflected in an updated statement.
